The Variphy Guide to WebexOne (2024)
Next week, Cisco will hold its annual conference, WebexOne, in Miami, Florida. This event draws in thousands of IT professionals, networking experts, engineers, executives, and partners from all over the world.
Last year was Cisco’s first in-person WebexOne conference, and it did not disappoint. This event includes technical training, networking opportunities, and an expo floor full of integration partners. In this guide to WebexOne, check out some high-level information about the conference, must-dos, and sessions I’m excited to attend.
Technical and Breakout Sessions
One great reason to attend WebexOne is for the technical sessions. These sessions cover a variety of topics related to Cisco/Webex products, roadmap, services, and technologies. With the conference pass, attendees can participate in presentations, demonstrations, and hands-on labs conducted by Webex experts and industry leaders.
A few sessions I’m looking forward to are:
Webex Suite: The versatile solution designed for any industry, and every workstyle.
Track: Employee Experience
Description: Webex Suite powers hybrid work across industries and workstyles by providing an all-in-one, AI-powered solution to connect, collaborate, and engage in any environment. Join us to hear how Webex customers are leveraging the Webex Suite to drive exceptional experiences for their employees and customers, without compromising security, privacy, and compliance.

Deliver mission-critical cloud calling with the AI-powered Webex platform
Track: Employee Experience
Description: Cloud calling promises to deliver modern communications with a simplified infrastructure and streamlined administration. However, cloud migrations are often met with skepticism due to concerns over user adoption, cost, the complexity of cloud transitions, and the potential for business disruption. Join this session to learn how Webex Calling customers have successfully transitioned to the cloud, overcoming concerns from users, the C-suite, and administrators. Learn about the strategies and best practices that facilitated a smooth migration and ensured stakeholder buy-in.
Why attend?
We discuss calling migrations daily with our partners, customers, and prospects. No migration is the same, and hearing from organizations first-hand about their experience is extremely important as we develop offerings for the market.
