Jeff Young helps shape Variphy’s solutions by turning customer feedback into features that make a real impact. With years of experience in unified communications, Jeff knows what works, what doesn’t, and how to build tools that customers actually need.
He’s also a two-time Cultural Collaborator Award winner, which speaks to how much he values teamwork and company culture. Whether he’s collaborating with internal teams or working directly with customers, Jeff brings a mix of technical expertise, creativity, and an easygoing approach that makes working with him enjoyable.
Q&A With Jeff Young
What initially drew you to Variphy?
Before joining Variphy, I worked for a reseller of the solution, so I was already familiar with the product and the team. The technology was solid, but the culture really stood out to me. When the opportunity came up to join, I didn’t hesitate.
How does your work impact Variphy’s customers and partners?
I work closely with our customers to understand their needs and translate that into product improvements. A lot of the features we add come directly from user feedback, which means we’re constantly evolving and adapting based on what actually helps our customers the most.
What excites you most about Variphy’s future?
We have a lot of exciting features in the pipeline, especially around calling integrations. I’m looking forward to expanding into new areas and continuing to build on what we’ve already created.
How did you get started in IT, and what led you to unified communications?
I’ve always loved technology. In college, I took a Cisco Network Academy course to give myself an edge in the job market. That led to an internship at a Cisco partner, where I was first introduced to Cisco UCM configurations. From there, I found my way into unified communications, and I’ve never looked back. Working at Variphy lets me stay hands-on while helping build a great analytics platform.
